11 players returned to Gran Casino Barcelona for the final day. For the finns, the day was gloomy to say the least, when all three ended up at the 8th, 10th and 11th place only. Juha-Matti Toivainen commented his first big livetournament : "I'm pretty satisfied, yeah. An excellent investment for eight euros." The swedes and the polish Maciej Swicarz dominated the events of the final table, in fact, five out of the six final players were swedish. After Viktor Manfred Kåvenstam was eliminated at 4th place, the three final players made a deal according to the chips. In the end, they played for honor, a small amount of money, and a Gaudian trophy. Swicarz then eliminated Eriksson and heads-up was a steady race between Wigg and Swicarz. Swicarz dominated the table for a moment, but in the end, swedish Wigg managed to take control over Swicarz permanently. In the final hand, the chips were pushed in at the flop, when both had caught the top pair, but the swede's pair of nines with an ace kicker was enough to win EMOP Barcelona this time.
1 Anton Wigg 55.502e
2 Maciej Swicarz 73.655e
3 Kristian Eriksson 65.565e
4 Manfred Kåvestam 23.142e
